on Active
Publisher Technology) is a comprehensive web site content
management solution powerful enough to be used in large
enterprises -- but its flexibility and ease of use also allow it to

to manage content for your personal web log; small or medium sized
business; or corporate web site or intranet!

perfect for individual page content, Latest News, Web Logs, Press
Releases, and more! Active Publisher helps you keep your web site up to
date quickly, easily, and inexpensively.
TCB's ASP Publishing System has
been custom developed for many our clients to create online solutions
for specific needs - Examples include a Resume Publisher, WebDoc
Publisher, News Publisher, etc.
Template-driven display
Documents are shown in pre-defined
templates using Active Server Pages (ASP) technology. The template
defines the look of a document as well as links to other areas of your
web site; the actual data comes from your document database. A single
template is all you need to display all of the documents in your
database. You can define as many templates as you need (e.g. one per
document type).
All documents are stored as plain text
in the database. No knowledge of HTML is required to add or modify
documents since the final look and feel is defined separately by the
templates.
What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) content
editor
Now editing documents is easier than
ever with the integrated WYSIWYG content editor. You can edit content
directly in your web browser using the tools you are accustomed to in
popular word processing software. Easily control the formatting and
look of your documents without having to know any HTML (this feature
requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher).

TCB's ASP Publishing System's
intuitive and simple interface makes it quick and easy to add or
modify documents in your database.
Virtually unlimited number of
documents
Thousands of documents can be added to
TCB's ASP Publishing System. All documents are stored in a
relational database (Access 97 or Microsoft SQL Server 7). Access 97
can store up to one gigabyte of documents; SQL server can store over
200 gigabytes.
One gigabyte is equivalent to about one
billion characters of text which translates into (approximately): 200
million words or 500,000 pages of typed, single-spaced text.
100% web-based administration
All administration of documents and
document types is done through a web-based interface. You can add,
change, and delete documents and document types from anywhere.
Distribution of the administrative interface is as simple as e-mailing
a URL and a password.
Built-in password security
Assign users access levels according to
their role: Read only, Author, or Editor. Users can be given control
of specific document types and prevented from changing others.
Unlimited document types
You can define as many different
document types as you like. Use TCB's ASP Publishing System for
the What's New section of your web site, to distribute corporate Press
Releases and Memos, or even show the Joke of the Day. TCB's ASP
Publishing System can publish any type of document you can
imagine.
Many data attributes
Each document has many different
attributes including multiple associated images, To/From/Subject
fields, Title/Sub-title, Author, Begin/Expiration dates, Type, and
Keywords. TCB can customize these to meet your specific needs.
