Host Servers

Servers - TCB's hosting machines use dual Intel Pentium III/4 processors running at 2GHz Mhz or faster, with 2GB MB of RAM or more, and 36 GB or more of local disk space. The operating system is running on NT 4.0 and Windows 2000/2003, with all published patches. The server platform is Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0

Bandwidth - By hosting your Web server at TCB, you are putting your server directly on the Internet using 200Mb Fast Switched Ethernet.

Security - By physically hosting your Web pages on TCB's servers, you not only benefit from the highest transfer rate available on the Internet today, you also eliminate any security concerns. Remote hosting physically separates your internal network from your public Web presence, creating an "air gap" between your Web site and your sensitive internal information. Therefore, there is no way someone can gain access to your internal network via your Web site. TCB also maintains proactive security measures on our systems to keep your data out of harms way.

We take great pride in our reliability features. The features include:

Data Backup Systems - We have Automated Tape Backups using Adic DLT Autochangers. Incremental backups are performed every four hours with routine backups every 12 hours. Complete volume backups are made using optical disk backup systems.

Monitoring - Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed and operational twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our NOC engineers are constantly looking at the output from our monitoring systems to identify outages and, where possible, to identify and rectify potential outages before they happen. ICMP monitoring (ping) for the server machine(s) is done every five minutes, and is watched by the NOC. HTTP monitoring, for each Web server on each machine, is done every fifteen minutes, and notification message is sent when any of the servers doesn't present its home page.
